A worker at the nearby Mobil gas station said she heard a bang and saw people running when it first happened.

“I was serving a customer so I couldn’t go right away but when I got out I saw people running towards the lights.

“People were swimming in the water to the car and trying to help a person out.

“I heard someone cry but I don’t know if it was family or something like that”

Emergency teams were working on the scene and the road was closed.
