A collision earlier this afternoon wreaked havoc on the A120 for commuters traveling along the route which is well known as an accident black spot.
There was an accident involving a truck and van on the A120 at Coggeshall.

At approximately 2:20 p.m., that is when the Eastern England Ambulance Service was called to the scene following reports of a collision.
How many people were involved?
Three patients were treated by emergency services at the scene, and one person was transported by road to Broomfield Hospital for further evaluation.
Has anyone been hurt?
Fortunately, no one died as a result of the accident. Essex Police later confirmed that no one involved suffered any life-threatening or life-changing injuries.

The Eastern England Ambulance Service has confirmed that two ambulances, two rapid response vehicles, the Hazardous Area Response Team and the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance have all attended the scene .
