Have fun on Stroud Emergency Services Day


The Five Valleys Shopping Center in Stroud is teaming up with Gloucestershire Police for an Emergency Services Day on Sunday 5 September.

From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., activities will take place in the Five Valleys Mall and along King Street, designed to support and educate emergency services, both local and national.

On King Street, the Stroud Neighborhood Police Team will be offering free on-site bike marking in conjunction with BikeRegister, which helps protect your bike from thieves with its unique bike marking system.

Inside Five Valleys, there will be live music in the main market area from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., as well as a children’s craft table with emergency services themed activities.

Five Valleys’ independent department store, Sandersons Boutique, is offering Blue Light cardholders 15% off all store shelves on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Jess Derham, Market and Events Manager for Five Valleys, said: “We are really looking forward to hosting Emergency Services Day this Sunday, which will be a day to celebrate our fantastic local emergency workers.

“The brilliant Gloucestershire Police team will be on hand throughout the day to answer any questions. Plus, we have live music and craft activities for kids in the market area to make Sunday a fun day! ”
